Inscription.

 Marble table monument to Alexander Robertson, Provost of Dundee, 1775, aged 82.


This stone was erected in memory of Alexander Robertson, Merchant and sometime

Provost in Dundee, who died on the xxv of October mdcclxxv, in the lxxxii year of his age; and of

Ann Scryra-soure his spouse, who died on the xvi of December, mdcolxxv, in the lxxiv year of her

age.

Also, John Morrison, who died 22d April 1777, aged 45 years; Isobel Robertson, his spouse,

daughter of the said Alexr Robertson & Ann Scrymsoure, died 18th Jany 1812, aged 72 years;

Ann Robertson, daughter of said Alexr Robertson and Ann Scrymsoure, died 17th Feby, 1819,

aged 80 years.
